Thailand based petrochemical company Indorama Ventures has made a bold move by diversifying into the chemical intermediate and surfactant business of Texas-based Huntsman International which will enable it to be the one of the largest producers of integrated oxides and specialty chemicals. The acquisition is a pre-planned M&A strategy to become a globally diversified company with multiple sources of avenue.
