Godavari Biorefineries Limited has earned the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) certified biobased label for glacial acetic acid. This USDA label would highlight the biobased content in the product, i.e. the portion of the product derived from renewables. In the recent years, rising concern for global climate change has propelled the demand for biobased products, which other than being environment friendly, also are cheaper with better performance than the traditional counterparts.
