Australasian Metals Limited (A8G) has announced the results of its recent sampling program at the Dingo Hole high-purity quartz project (Dingo Hole HPQ Project) in the Georgina Basin, Australia. The company has secured an option agreement to acquire the project from Verdant Minerals Limited. This 35.16km2 project, located approximately 300km southeast of Tennant Creek, underwent its initial field sampling in June 2024. The promising analytical results from this program highlight the potential of the Dingo Hole HPQ Project for high-quality quartz resources.

Recent sampling from the Dingo Hole HPQ Project has yielded promising results, showing low levels of deleterious elements and an impressive average silica content of 99.95% SiO2 after preliminary acid leaching, aligning with historical data. The analysis confirmed exceptionally low concentrations of aluminum (Al), titanium (Ti), and lithium (Li) in both raw rock and pre-prepared samples, according to the official website.

The Australasian technical team is set to conduct additional sampling at Dingo Hole to plan an extensive drill program aimed at generating the data required for a comprehensive mineral resource estimate. Concurrently, research will begin to identify the most effective process flow for commercial-scale production, focusing on stages such as crushing and grinding, washing, and optical sorting to optimize the production process.

A8G Managing Director Dr. Qingtao Zeng highlighted the impressive results from the Dingo Hole HPQ Project, noting that the unprocessed samples of quartz exhibit extremely low levels of impurities such as aluminum (Al), titanium (Ti), and lithium (Li). He expressed that the quality of the raw material from the field has exceeded their expectations, showcasing a level of purity that is exceptional. Dr. Zeng explained that the successful reduction of impurities in the raw material has allowed the team to focus on addressing the remaining challenges in the refining process. With these hurdles being systematically tackled, A8G is now prepared to explore and identify specific high-end applications for this highly pure quartz material. This advancement is supported by well-documented data, which will be crucial in demonstrating the material's potential in specialized and high-value applications across various industries.

The Company collected 18 surface rock samples, which were analyzed by Groundswell Laboratories in Port Melbourne, Victoria. The untreated samples exhibited an average silica purity of 99.88%, while the acid-treated samples achieved an average purity of 99.95%. Both sample types showed very low levels of critical impurities, including aluminum (Al), titanium (Ti), lithium (Li), and uranium (U).
