Behr launches BEHR PREMIUM PLUS® ECOMIX™ Plant-Based* Paint & Primer, combining renewable content, zero VOC^, high performance, and sustainability.
Behr Paint Company has officially launched its latest innovation, the BEHR PREMIUM PLUS® ECOMIX™ Plant-Based Paint & Primer, a groundbreaking product designed to deliver both environmental benefits and superior performance. This plant-based paint and primer represents a significant step in Behr’s ongoing mission to offer products that balance quality, durability, and sustainability. It combines high-performance attributes with low emissions, zero VOC, and a minimum of 20% renewable content, aligning with the standards established by the USDA BioPreferred Program for interior paints and coatings. Remarkably, this product is the first 100% all-acrylic paint in its category to meet this renewable materials threshold. In addition, the paint is UL GREENGUARD GOLD certified+, signifying its low chemical emissions and its contribution to healthier indoor air quality.
