In July ****, Indian Viscose Filament Yarn (VFY) prices improved in the Indian market. This was due to multiple factors, including rising demand from domestic as well as overseas markets, slightly restrictive supply, and the influence of rising prices of other textile raw materials.
As a result, Indian VFY prices rose by *.** in July **** and reached INR ****** Ex-Surat, from INR ******/MT in June ****. This increase reflected stronger VFY market sentiment during the month.
Demand from the downstream as well as overseas markets witnessed a positive trend during the period, supporting prices to rise.
