ChemPoint LLC, a subsidiary of Univar Solutions LLC, and Eastman, a global specialty materials company, have announced a significant expansion of their existing partnership. The new agreement centers on the sales, marketing, and distribution of Eastman’s TamiSolve™ NxG solvents across the United States and Canada.
This expansion is seen as a key move to bring safer, high-performance solvent solutions to a wide range of industrial customers in North America. The partnership, which has spanned over a decade, is rooted in a mutual commitment to excellence, innovation, and digital solutions within the specialty chemical sector.

Eastman's TamiSolve™ NxG solvents are positioned as a robust alternative to a number of commonly used solvents, offering significant benefits for both product performance and worker safety. The solvents are utilized across a diverse range of industrial applications, including coatings, inks, cleaners, electronics, agrochemical formulations and chemical synthesis.
A key feature of TamiSolve™ NxG is its safety profile. Crucially, the solvents are not classified as developmental reprotoxic. This makes them a strong, viable replacement option for solvents such as n-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) and n-ethyl-2-pyrrolidone (NEP), as well as other alternatives like dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) and dipropylene glycol dimethyl ether (DMM).
