China**;s Ethylenediamine (EDA) market strengthened during June **** as firm export demand, healthy domestic consumption, and rising production costs supported higher prices. According to ChemAnalyst, EDA suppliers successfully increased offers throughout the month as buyers accepted higher prices to secure prompt cargoes amid steady procurement from both domestic and overseas markets. However, despite the positive performance in June, the EDA market is expected to soften during July as seasonal demand weakens, and buyers return to cautious purchasing following earlier restocking activity.
During June, demand for EDA remained supported by several downstream industries. The epoxy resin and epoxy curing agent sector recorded the strongest consumption, driven by increased export enquiries from Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia ahead of the third-quarter electronics manufacturing season.
