Construction Commences for the First Stainless Steel Seamless Pipe and Tube Production Plant in MENA Region

Riyadh [Saudi Arabia]: Dussur, in joint venture with South Korea's SeAH Changwon Integrated Special Steel, has officially marked the commencement of construction for the first Stainless Steel seamless pipe and tube production plant in the MENA region. The momentous building project is taking place at King Salman Energy Park (SPARK), located in Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. It is sure to bring immense economic growth to the area and will be a vital addition to manufacturing capabilities worldwide.

A new plant is set to be constructed, with a total investment of SAR 900 million ($240 million). It will have the capacity to produce 20,000 mt, and commercial production is expected to kick off in 2025.

The Saudi industrial sector and the kingdom's oil, gas, energy, and water industries are the focus of a project undertaken by both parties to further their shared mission. Strategic investments and alliances with both regional and international entities will be used to make progress in this goal.
