	In late March xxxx, the prices of Dimethyl Sulphate (DMS) experienced an incline in Asia and the US market which is primarily influenced by the demand from the downstream industries and the volatile behaviour of feedstock prices. 
	The U.S. Market observed a continuous incline in DMS prices in March as well as in the previous month. The price settled in the US at USD xxxx per tonne. The agrochemical and pharmaceutical industries, which heavily rely on DMS as a key methylating agent, have seen steady expansion, further increasing consumption. While methanol which is a crucial raw material in DMS production shows no such change in its price. Its stable pricing has not been enough to offset other cost pressures including higher operation expenses and supply chain disruptions.
