E3 Lithium Ltd. (TSXV: ETL) (FSE: OW3) (OTCQX: EEMMF), a prominent player in Canadian lithium, is excited to announce its plan to establish a fully integrated Lithium Brine Demonstration Facility (the “Demo Project”). This initiative aims to produce battery-grade lithium carbonate from brines in the Leduc reservoir in Alberta. The Demo Project represents a key milestone in the Company’s strategic vision to create a commercial lithium production facility, further positioning western Canada as a leading lithium resource region.

The Demo Project will build upon the successful Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) pilot program conducted in 2023. During this pilot, the Company tested and assessed various technologies, demonstrating the technical viability of DLE, including its proprietary method. The data obtained from the 2023 pilot was crucial for the recently released Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS), which confirmed the economic potential of lithium projects in Alberta.

The Demo Project will implement a fully integrated process that scales up the Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) system and incorporates stages for purification, concentration, and chemical conversion to transform brine into battery-grade lithium carbonate. Additional hydroxide processing will be conducted offsite. The project aims to consolidate all essential components on-site to create a scaled-down version of a commercial system. This setup will generate real-time data, which will assist in designing the commercial system through advanced engineering and provide samples for discussions with potential strategic partners. The Demo Project will also allow the Company to continually optimize and mitigate risks at each stage of the process as it progresses towards completing its feasibility study.

This facility is unprecedented in Canada and is expected to be a significant economic catalyst for Alberta’s battery supply chain. The Company will release further details about the Demo Project in the coming months as it finalizes the design and operational elements.

"We are excited to advance our efforts in producing battery-grade lithium carbonate from our Leduc Brine," said Chris Doornbos, President and CEO of E3 Lithium. "E3 Lithium is focused on becoming a direct supplier to the battery industry. The Demo Project is a crucial milestone in advancing the Clearwater Project, offering samples to potential strategic partners and further developing lithium assets on a commercial scale in Alberta."

E3 Lithium is a development company holding a total of 16.0 million tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) in Measured and Indicated resources, and 0.9 million tonnes LCE in Inferred resources in Alberta. According to E3’s Preliminary Economic Assessment, the Clearwater Lithium Project has an NPV8% of USD 1.1 billion, with a 32% pre-tax IRR and USD 820 million with a 27% after-tax IRR. E3 Lithium aims to produce high-purity, battery-grade lithium products to support the expanding electrical revolution. With substantial lithium resources and cutting-edge technology, E3 Lithium is well-positioned to supply lithium from one of the world's premier jurisdictions.
