High court of Ahmedabad issues notice to Morbi units for Polluting water

Gujrat High court issued notice to Gujarat Pollution Control Board and Central Pollution Control Board against a PIL filed by advocate K R Kosht regarding the pollution created by Ceramic units at MorbiWankaner ceramic industrial area in Saurashtra. The ceramics units are using coal gasifiers for the manufacturing of ceramic tiles, so advocate Kosht request the honorable court to dismantle all the coal gasifiers and make all units work on PNG gasifiers. He further added that due to insufficient framework  for discharging  the waste results in water contamination and this has started to sully groundwater.
