Rise in Crude oil price has impacted the prices of several downstream products. Linear Alkyl Benzene (LAB) prices were assessed 4 per cent higher over the previous week as crude oil price saw a sharp rise following the US assassination of the Iranian General. Profit margins of Hindustan Organics Limited, Procter & Gamble (P&G), Godrej Industries Limited and the other surfactants manufacturers in the country would be hit by this increase in feedstock price.
