PLA Prices Hold Firm in April Across US and Europe as Demand Grows for Greener Solutions

Polylactic Acid (PLA) prices stayed firm throughout the USA and Europe in early April xxxx, supported by well-balanced demand and steady supply chains. Major end-user industries like packaging, xD printing, textiles, and food service applications continued steady offtake rates. Environmentally driven innovation and policy backing in the form of the Global Plastics Treaty and EU package reform further contributed to market firmness. Irrespective of international uncertainties, no significant upward or downward pressures were noted.

In the United States, PLA prices stabilized as manufacturers achieved planned production volumes with minimal setbacks. Demand was strong for food service, single-use packaging, and compostable product categories.
