PPG partners with GPA as authorized distributor to expand Teslin synthetic paper availability for durable, versatile, and sustainable printing and labeling solutions.

PPG  has officially announced the establishment of a new authorized distributor partnership with GPA, a well-known printing services company. This collaboration is aimed at significantly expanding the availability and distribution of PPG TESLIN® substrate for a wide variety of commercial printing and label applications. Through this agreement, the innovative range of synthetic paper solutions under the PPG Teslin brand will now be more accessible to the global network of brands and products supported by GPA.

PPG Teslin substrates are recognized for their exceptional performance in commercial printing and pressure-sensitive labeling, making them a preferred choice for applications that require durability, security, and reliable quality. These synthetic papers are designed to deliver strong adhesion, easy handling, and high-quality print output while maintaining remarkable versatility across printing processes. Notably, PPG Teslin products incorporate up to 60% less plastic content compared to many other synthetic paper alternatives, supporting sustainability goals without compromising performance.

Amy Donato, PPG’s Global Strategic Marketing Director for Teslin substrate within its Specialty Products division, emphasized the longstanding collaboration between PPG and GPA. “PPG and GPA have maintained a strong relationship over the years, working together to deliver high-performing solutions tailored to the print, graphics, and labels industries,” Donato stated. “This new authorized distributor partnership represents an exciting step forward in extending our reach, enabling us to bring innovative printing materials and solutions to a broader customer base and into new market segments.”

The partnership is also expected to empower GPA to enhance its offerings and support customers in achieving their creative and business objectives. Kim Hajec, GPA’s Senior Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Strategy, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration. “Through this authorized distributor agreement, GPA will be able to transform our customers’ visions into reality by leveraging the unique performance characteristics of PPG Teslin substrates. These include superior durability, flexibility, and conformability that address a diverse range of printing needs. We are excited to join forces with PPG in this endeavor,” Hajec noted.

By combining PPG’s expertise in advanced substrate technology with GPA’s established market presence and customer relationships, the partnership aims to set a new standard in the printing and labeling industry. Customers will benefit from easier access to Teslin products, reliable supply chains, and the combined technical and strategic support of two leading companies in the field. This initiative not only strengthens both companies’ market positions but also underscores their shared commitment to innovation, quality, and environmental responsibility.
