Sinopec Maoming Petrochemical, a subsidiary of Sinopec, a global leader in energy and chemicals, has successfully recommenced the production of polypropylene (PP) on Line 18 in Guangdong province, China, effective November 1. This renewal follows a carefully planned period of scheduled maintenance, during which Line No. 1, with an annual production capacity of 170 thousand tons of PP, was temporarily closed from September 4 to November 18.

Earlier this year, on July 12, Sinopec Maoming Petrochemical, another subsidiary of the energy and chemical powerhouse Sinopec, initiated scheduled maintenance on Line No. 3, a polypropylene production line located in Guangdong Province, China. The temporary closure of Line No. 3, boasting an annual PP production capacity of 200 thousand tons, spanned 50 days, demonstrating the company's commitment to maintaining operational excellence through strategic maintenance measures.
