The plant with 50 KTPA capacity will use glycerin as feedstock to produce epichlorohydrin. Based on renewable glycerol feedstocks, EPICEROL is one of the most sustainable ECH technologies with a reduced carbon footprint compared to traditional propylene-based processes. Being the first to manufacture epichlorohydrin, MFL is expected start its plant by 2021. The ECH unit will be integrated into the Chlor Alkali and Derivative Complex in Dahej, Gujarat, India.
