TRU Precious Metals Corp. (TSXV: TRU, OTCQB: TRUIF) has initiated its copper-focused exploration program at the Golden Rose Project in Western-Central Newfoundland. This program is specifically targeting critical minerals linked to the deposit-bearing Cape Ray – Valentine Lake Shear Zone. The primary objective is to enhance understanding of Golden Rose's critical minerals potential and identify potential drill targets for these minerals, as announced on April 18, 2024.

While the primary focus remains on copper exploration (Cu), the program will also explore occurrences of other critical minerals such as nickel (Ni) and zinc (Zn), which have been identified in previous exploration efforts conducted by the Company.

The exploration activities will encompass prospecting, rock sampling, reconnaissance soil sampling, and trenching across identified critical minerals anomalies. These anomalies were identified through TRU's previous work, historical data review, and recent acquisition of high-resolution satellite and remote sensing data covering the entire property. Many of the targeted areas have seen limited exploration to date, reflecting Golden Rose's historical underexplored status.

The exploration program will target areas where previous exploration efforts from 2021-2023 identified critical mineral anomalies in soil, rock samples, and drill cores. These areas include Jacob’s Pond (with up to 3.42% Cu), Jacob’s Twin (with up to 11.0% Cu), Jacob’s West (with up to 1,094 ppm Cu in soils), Glenn’s Prospect (with up to 7.6% Cu), King George IV (with up to 0.66% Cu and 1.33% Zn), and Bear Pond (with up to 409 ppm Ni). Additionally, the program will explore several new prospective areas recently identified.

Joel Freudman, TRU's Co-Founder and CEO, stated: "Our exploration season is now underway, and we are eager to further explore the potential at Golden Rose for new discoveries of copper, zinc, and nickel, alongside the increased potential for gold. Our primary focus with this program, which qualifies for enhanced government funding, is to pinpoint potential drill targets for critical minerals. This effort complements our internal preparations for a gold-focused drill program. We anticipate assessing the data from our field operations and sharing the outcomes with the market."

TRU (TSXV: TRU) is focused on enhancing long-term shareholder value through strategic development and transactions in natural resource properties. The company is actively exploring for gold and copper in Central Newfoundland's highly prospective Gold Belt, primarily through its 100%-owned Golden Rose Project. Originally secured from TSX-listed Altius Minerals, Golden Rose spans a regional-scale area of 264.25 km2, featuring 45 km of strike length along the Cape Ray - Valentine Lake Shear Zone. This location places it directly between Calibre Mining’s Valentine Gold Project and AuMega Metals Ltd.’s Cape Ray Gold Project. Additionally, TRU holds an option to acquire up to a 65% ownership stake in two claim packages covering 33.25 km2, including a 12 km strike length along the Shear Zone within Golden Rose.
