US Observes 2.2% Rise in Succinic Acid Prices as Q3 Ends

In the North American market, the Succinic Acid import prices rose during the final month of the third quarter. It was mainly due to the firm domestic market demand and a decline in supplies from international exporters. The robust consumption from the paints & coatings and cosmetics sectors raised market demand. In between, the export rates were low from key Asian exporters amid shifts in trade policy and sourcing strategies on the Asia–US route. The persistent market conditions suggest that the Succinic Acid prices would increase again in the North American market in the first half of the final quarter of the year. Buyers may increase their purchases due to a rise in demand for cosmetic products. At the same time, supplies would remain low compared to the exporters during winter. In addition, the rise in freight costs would escalate the import prices and overall market quotations of Succinic Acid in Q4.
