US PBAT prices are expected to remain under pressure in early September before finding modest support later in the month, as elevated inventories, competitive Chinese export offers, and subdued spot procurement continue to weigh on the market. The September PBAT outlook is nevertheless mixed, with bargain buying, pre-fall restocking, and potential freight inflation likely to create a firmer tone as the month progresses. Lower replacement costs currently limit producer pricing power, although logistics and feedstock risks could increasingly influence US import economics.
