Valiant Advanced Sciences Private Limited, a wholly owned material subsidiary of Valiant Laboratories Limited, has officially begun commercial operations at its newly constructed greenfield acetic anhydride manufacturing plant in Saykha GIDC, Bharuch, Gujarat, as of November 7, 2025. This marks a significant strategic milestone for the company as it expands its footprint within the specialty chemicals sector while strengthening its backward integration capabilities and diversifying its product portfolio.
The new facility represents a key step in Valiant’s long-term growth roadmap, designed to reinforce its presence in high-value chemical segments. The state-of-the-art plant focuses on the production of acetic anhydride, an essential compound categorized under Ketene and Diketene derivatives. This versatile chemical serves as a crucial raw material in various industries including pharmaceuticals, textiles, agrochemicals, and plastics.
