Arya Engineers has joined forces with Austria’s P&P Industries AG to deliver fully integrated sulphuric acid plants. Combining Arya’s EPC expertise with P&P’s patented low-emission technology, the partnership offers end-to-end services from design to commissioning. Arya will represent P&P in India, handling local execution, manufacturing, and technical support.
Pune-based Arya Engineers, a leading provider of plant engineering and turnkey project solutions, has entered into a strategic partnership with Austria’s P&P Industries AG, a global specialist in sulphur processing technologies. The collaboration aims to deliver comprehensive, end-to-end sulphuric acid plant solutions by combining both companies’ core strengths—Arya’s execution and manufacturing capabilities with P&P’s patented, high-efficiency process technology.
Together, the partners will offer fully integrated services that span the entire project lifecycle, including plant design, equipment manufacturing, installation, and commissioning. This move comes at a time when industries worldwide are seeking more sustainable, high-performance chemical processing solutions.
At the core of this collaboration is P&P Industries’ proprietary catalyst-based “wet” process, which is known for its high steam generation and ultra-low emissions. The advanced technology ensures optimal energy recovery and minimizes environmental impact, aligning with global efforts toward greener industrial operations.
P&P Industries brings decades of deep expertise in sulphur technologies, including sulphur oxidation, spent acid regeneration, and sulphur concentration processes. Their flexible processing systems can handle various liquid feedstocks—molten sulphur, low-grade or spent sulphuric acid, and sulphur-bearing gases or liquids—either individually or in combination. This versatility results in consistently high-purity sulphuric acid with concentrations of 98% or more, making it highly suitable for applications in sectors such as chemicals, fertilizers, mining, and pharmaceuticals.
