Balanced Demand-Supply Keeps Global HDPE Prices Steady Amid Regional Shifts

The global High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) market remained flat, and minor variations were driven by packaging, and infrastructure sector during the first half of August.

Until mid-august in the US, HDPE demand was steady on e-commerce box packaging, rigid container demand, and building construction, while exports softened. Feedstock ethylene lost x.xxx, lowering Gulf Coast producers&#xx; costs.
