Dyson has introduced its second haircare formulation series – the Dyson Omega™ Nourishing Collection, a line of products developed with an innovative fusion of agricultural know-how and scientific expertise in hair health. Drawing on over a decade of experience in both haircare technology and sustainable farming, Dyson brings a groundbreaking solution to address dry, frizzy, and tangled hair using nature-derived ingredients. At the heart of the collection lies a powerful blend of seven omega-rich oils, including sunflower oil sourced from Dyson’s own farms in Lincolnshire, UK.
The Omega™ collection includes two key products: a hydrating hair oil designed to revitalize and smooth the hair, and a leave-in conditioning spray formulated to detangle and deeply nourish. Suitable for all hair types, the products offer both instant and long-term benefits by leveraging the unique properties of omega fatty acids.
According to Sir James Dyson, founder of Dyson and Dyson Farming, this collection represents the convergence of two worlds – precision farming and high-performance beauty. Over 12 years ago, Dyson began pioneering advancements in hair technology, while simultaneously investing in agricultural practices aimed at sustainable and nutrient-rich crop production. The idea to grow ingredients for beauty solutions arose from this dual pursuit, leading to the creation of the Omega collection – the first to incorporate ingredients grown directly on Dyson farms.
Established in 2012, Dyson Farming operates across 36,000 acres, making it the UK’s largest farming business. It ranks among the top producers of wheat, barley, oilseeds, and now, sunflowers. The sunflower oil used in the Omega™ collection is rich in omegas 6 and 9, essential fatty acids that help lock in moisture, smooth the hair cuticle, and tame frizz without leaving buildup due to its lightweight molecular structure. The farm even tested 60 sunflower varieties to ensure the highest levels of ceramides and nutrients.

The leave-in conditioning spray offers eight benefits in one product—moisturizing, detangling, smoothing, and shielding from heat, UV, and humidity. The spray transforms from a gel-like cream to a lightweight mist thanks to a uniquely engineered bottle. It's available at $69.99 (165ml) with a $59.99 refill option.
