Eazy Grease Merges with LRS to Expand UCO Collection Network

Eazy Grease merges with Liquid Recovery Solutions, creating a 9-state UCO collection network and expanding leadership in renewable fuel feedstocks.

Eazy Grease has successfully finalized its strategic merger with Liquid Recovery Solutions, significantly boosting its presence in the used cooking oil (UCO) collection industry and solidifying its role as a dominant multi-regional player. With this move, Eazy Grease now operates across nine U.S. states—Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. This extensive reach creates one of the largest independently operated UCO collection networks in the country, combining the scale of major industry corporations with the nimbleness and personalized service of local businesses.

As part of the merger, Eazy Grease—certified under the ISCC EU sustainability framework—will absorb Liquid Recovery Solutions’ assets, including its processing facilities and fleet infrastructure across the nine-state area. This acquisition substantially increases Eazy Grease’s operational capacity and logistical capabilities. A key highlight of this merger is the inclusion of Liquid Recovery Solutions’ recent purchase of Hulsey Environmental, a Georgia-based waste management company. This further enhances market penetration and strengthens operational efficiency in the Southeastern region.

“This merger sets a new benchmark in the UCO collection industry,” said Artem Kamalov, Chief Strategy Officer at Eazy Grease. “By merging with Liquid Recovery Solutions, we’ve achieved significant scale while retaining the personalized, high-touch service that independent operators are known for. It’s proof that growth and exceptional customer experience can coexist. Our ability to manage complex mergers while maintaining operational performance is what differentiates us.”

The recent merger aligns with Eazy Grease’s broader acquisition-led growth strategy. In the past, the company has successfully integrated several regional businesses including Green Nature Recycling in the Northeast and Florida-based firms such as DHT Grease Solutions, CleanFri, Daytona Biodiesel, and Relentless Renewables. Unlike traditional industry consolidations led by giants such as Darling Ingredients Inc. and Neste Corporation—which often face prolonged integration timelines—Eazy Grease’s regionally focused, methodical expansion model allows for quicker synergies and more seamless market adaptation.

This rapid and targeted expansion strategy strategically positions Eazy Grease to leverage the booming renewable diesel industry. Valued at $23 billion in 2024, the market is projected to more than double, reaching $52.1 billion by 2034, growing at a compound annual rate of 8.1%. With North America accounting for 47.5% of the market share and vegetable oil feedstocks expected to surpass $44.5 billion by 2034, the importance of reliable UCO collection is set to increase significantly.

Eazy Grease’s expanded multi-state presence ensures a dependable supply chain for biodiesel producers while offering the responsiveness and market intelligence typical of smaller operators. As demand for renewable fuels intensifies, especially with growing government support, Eazy Grease is uniquely positioned to serve as a strategic partner—offering the scale of a large enterprise with the agility of an entrepreneurial firm.
