India to Mandate at least 20% ethanol blend in Petrol

In an attempt for quicker adoption of BS-VI emission norms, India is likely to mandate blending of petrol with at least 20 percentage of ethanol. The BS-VI emission norms will allow more alternative fuel options such as biodiesel and methanol.
