Europe’s Polyol Prices Decline amid Weak Demand and Rising Market Competition

The Polyol prices declined slightly in the European market during mid-Qx, xxxx. Demand weakened from the Polyurethane segment to produce PU materials amid fewer new car registrations and cautious building projects in the automotive and construction sectors. Despite some regional stability in countries like Germany and Italy, overall demand remained low.

European producers are struggling to compete with cheaper imports from other regions.
