European Energy Leases Texas Land for E-Methanol Project

European Energy A/S, a leading renewables developer based in Denmark, has recently secured a lease contract for a strategic site in Texas, marking a significant step in the establishment of a cutting-edge facility capable of producing approximately 100,000 tonnes of e-methanol annually.

The chosen site is situated within the Port of Victoria's North Industrial Park, and the lease agreement, inked with the Victoria County Navigation District, spans an impressive 50 years, underlining the long-term commitment to sustainable energy endeavors. This move was disclosed by European Energy on Thursday, showcasing the company's dedication to expanding its green energy footprint on a global scale. The proposed facility, designed as a Power-to-X project, aims to revolutionize e-methanol production by integrating renewable energy sources.
