GameChange Solar has secured a major contract to supply 450 megawatt-peak (MWp) of its Genius Tracker™ 1P Single Row system to a large-scale solar project in Duqm, Oman. The agreement was signed with ACME Greentech Ventures FZCO and marks a significant milestone in Oman’s clean energy transformation.

The Duqm project will supply renewable power to one of the world’s largest green hydrogen and ammonia facilities. Located along Oman’s southeastern coast, the project site presents harsh environmental conditions, including extreme heat, high wind speeds, corrosive salt exposure, and challenging terrain. GameChange Solar’s tracking system is specifically engineered to withstand such conditions, offering enhanced structural integrity, rapid deployment, and optimized energy generation.

“We are proud to support ACME on this landmark initiative that positions Oman at the forefront of global green ammonia production,” said Vikas Bansal, president of international operations at GameChange Solar. “Our Genius Tracker™ system is built to perform in the harshest environments, ensuring both high energy yield and operational reliability. This partnership also strengthens our footprint in the Middle East, a region that is emerging as a global leader in clean energy innovation.”

The green ammonia initiative is a multi-phase project spearheaded by ACME and aligned with Oman’s national hydrogen strategy. Spread across an area of 92 square kilometers, the project will be developed in stages. Phase one, currently under construction, aims to produce 100,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually. Later phases are projected to yield 71,000 tonnes of green hydrogen and 400,000 tonnes of green ammonia each year. Upon full completion, the plant is expected to reach a total production capacity of 900,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually.

Vipin Aggarwal, vice president of procurement, green hydrogen, and international business at ACME Group, emphasized the importance of strong partnerships. “We are pleased to collaborate with GameChange Solar for this vital project. Their single-row tracker system is designed for high-wind, extreme climate performance, and we trust in their capacity to deliver efficiently and reliably,” he said. “As we work to build one of the world’s largest green ammonia platforms, having dependable partners like GameChange is essential to achieving our goals.”

The Duqm project represents a major step toward Oman’s ambition of becoming a global hub for hydrogen and green fuels, with international partners playing a critical role in the region’s energy diversification efforts.

GameChange Solar ranks among the top three global suppliers of solar tracker solutions for utility-scale and ground-mounted distributed generation solar projects. The company has deployed more than 43 GW of solar tracker and fixed-tilt systems worldwide, offering rapid installation, proven reliability, and exceptional value. Its success is driven by advanced engineering, innovative design, and large-scale manufacturing. GameChange Solar’s technology allows solar panels to track the sun’s path throughout the day, maximizing energy output and enhancing overall plant efficiency while safeguarding systems against severe weather conditions.
