Grasim Industries Limited, the flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group, in collaboration with Lubrizol Advanced Materials, has officially inaugurated the first phase of its cutting-edge Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) resin manufacturing plant at the company’s integrated chlor-alkali complex located in Vilayat, Gujarat, India. The newly commissioned facility has an initial annual production capacity of 50,000 metric tons and marks a significant step toward strengthening India’s domestic capabilities in the production of high-performance CPVC resin.
The establishment of this advanced manufacturing facility represents a strategic milestone for India’s specialty chemical and polymer industry.
