In a move to significantly bolster its offerings, KRAHN Chemie Benelux, a well-established distributor of specialty chemicals, has announced a new strategic collaboration with Mitsubishi Chemical Europe (MCE). This partnership is poised to significantly enhance KRAHN's value proposition by incorporating a range of innovative MCE products into their portfolio. This expansion not only strengthens KRAHN's position as a leading distributor but also provides customers with access to cutting-edge solutions from a renowned player in the chemical industry.
Under the newly forged partnership, KRAHN Chemie Benelux assumes the role of distributor for a selection of cutting-edge products from MCE, notably featuring BENEBiOL™ and BioPTMG. BENEBiOL™ stands out as a biomass-derived polycarbonatediol renowned for its ability to confer exceptional attributes to end products, such as remarkable stain and chemical resistance, alongside a luxurious soft touch and feel. This makes it ideal for a wide range of applications including adhesives, coatings, TPUs, sealants, elastomers, and fibers across industries like artificial leather, consumer goods, automotive, fashion, and industrial sectors.
BioPTMG, another key product under the agreement, is a bio-based polyol that offers sustainable advantages. Its versatility makes it suitable for various high-end polyurethane applications, contributing to enhanced sustainability profiles and meeting evolving market demands for eco-friendly solutions.
