MAIRE has announced a series of new awards and additional work under previously awarded contracts within its Integrated E&C Solutions (IE&CS) business unit. The combined value of these contracts is approximately €110 million, with projects spanning South America, Europe and Asia. The latest awards strengthen the company’s position in gas monetization, LNG infrastructure and large-scale energy engineering.
Tecnimont, a subsidiary of MAIRE, has secured an early engineering contract for a major gas monetization project in South America. The assignment involves engineering activities aimed at establishing the project’s technical framework and supporting the next stages of development. The work is expected to provide the foundation for a potential Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) phase.
The South American project is subject to a Final Investment Decision (FID). If the project receives approval to proceed, Tecnimont could participate in subsequent EPC activities, potentially expanding its involvement throughout the project lifecycle. The planned facility is expected to form an important part of the midstream infrastructure required to process natural gas before it undergoes liquefaction and is exported to international LNG markets.
The award highlights the growing importance of gas monetization projects as producers and infrastructure developers seek to convert stranded or underutilized natural gas resources into commercially valuable energy products. By supporting gas processing and LNG infrastructure, the project could contribute to greater integration between upstream gas production and international energy markets.
In Asia, Tecnimont has also been selected by a Tier-1 customer to execute Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) activities for an LNG plant. FEED work is an important stage in major energy projects because it establishes technical specifications, preliminary designs, cost estimates and project requirements before final investment and construction decisions.
The Asian LNG award further expands Tecnimont’s presence in the global LNG engineering market, where demand for liquefaction infrastructure remains supported by efforts to secure reliable natural gas supplies and strengthen energy security.
