Reliance Sibur Elastomers Pvt Ltd. recently announced revision in the prices of Butyl Rubber, this price revision is anticipated to contribute to a much-required surge in the prolonged dull market dynamics of the product. Prices of Butyl Rubber were ramped up to a significant per cent owing to marginal recovery in the automotive industry where the product is majorly consumed. Moreover, widening of demand and supply gap due to decline in imports from China as an outcome of Coronavirus outbreak is also assumed to be another factor adding to this sudden price revision.  Reliance Sibur Elastomers Pvt Ltd. is a joint venture of Sibur and Reliance Industries having a plant capacity of 120 KT of Butyl Rubber in Jamnagar
